Our Story

Born from a mandate, carried by grace.

How a three-day season of prayer in 1998 became a Ministry reaching people across Abuja and beyond.

The Call

January 3, 1998

Graceland Christian Center was born out of a divine mandate received on January 3, 1998, at approximately 12:30 PM, during a three-day indoor fasting and prayer session. Our founder heard God's command:

"Go and preach the message of My grace, and write the things I tell you down so that those who could not see you can read from what you write."

This was accompanied by a solemn warning: "You are not less wicked than the devil who throws people to hell if you fail to preach the gospel that is able to save them."

Preparation & Training

Finding the Call Before Receiving It

Prior to these revelations, our founder had been on a quest to know God more deeply following his conversion on November 19, 1995. He enrolled at the World Outreach Bible Institute, the Bible School of All Christian Fellowship Mission in Abuja, where he graduated with honors.

During his time at Bible School, he served in various capacities: he taught the New Converts Class, led the Baptismal Preparatory Class, facilitated Sunday School groups, served as an Executive Member of the Youth arm and the Watchmen Prayer Ministry, led the Drama group, and led the Wednesday prayer group for the church, members, and ministers.

Our Founder's Journey

Missionary Years in West Africa

After graduating from Bible School, God directed him: "Go over to the West African countries where I will train you personally." This call was confirmed by a man of God, leading to missionary work as a privately sponsored missionary across the Republic of Benin, the Republic of Togo, and the Republic of Ghana — where God enabled him to work alongside national ministries, helping establish ministers and ministries.

In 2006, he returned to Nigeria and collaborated with established ministries in various capacities before establishing Graceland Christian Center — a non-denominational Ministry with its headquarters in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.
